Yin yoga targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones. It’s slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. Because you’re holding poses for a longer period of time than you would in other traditional types of yoga, yin yoga helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely-used tissues while also teaching you how to breathe through discomfort and sit with your thoughts.
This class offers a joyful practice for children between 6 and 12 years old and includes postures, breathing, relaxation, meditation. Yoga teaches children in a playful way how to concentrate, increase self-confidence and improve their motor skills. By taking part in important social skills. Regular yoga practice offers effective help with hyperactivity and stress. But above all, yoga for children is a lot of fun. Mary 086 2296 417.

Beginners Calming Yoga
Calming Yoga will help you ground and find your center, this slower paced class aims to both strengthen and stretch your joints, muscles and tendons, it encourages us to be more gentle with ourselves and our bodies.
Calming Yoga aims to engage the mind. Students do this by paying attention to the sensation of movement and breath. In turn, this creates a mind and body awareness that is very beneficial to mental and emotional health with a short guided meditation to end.
Teen Yoga
Wednesdays 1:30-2:30pm Teens are under constant stress from their school work, to friends and family, and pursuing their hobbies. Not only do the yoga poses offer stress relief in the way they manipulate the body, but it is also in the mindfulness element of the practice that teens will find relief and learn to balance their life. When they begin to match their breath to the movement, they begin to slow down and notice what their body is saying to them.

This class is suitable for both Complete beginners and also those who have a yoga practice already or are in training, running, cycling, who want to keep there body at optimum fitness. It will complement an already active life or help those who feel distracted by “mind chatter”. By bringing both Yin and Yang aspects of yoga to each class we can experience all the benefits of both styles and we can use these in different ways. This is a practice that balances the slow-paced Yin yoga with the traditional Yang yoga (Ashtanga and Hatha). Yin/Yang yoga has its roots in China in the Taoist concepts of yin – a feminine, passive, cooling energy – and yang – a masculine, dynamic, warming energy. please call/text Mary on 0862296417 for more info or to book.

Aine Fox
Yoga Teacher
Aine has worked as a Psychotherapist and Couples Therapist for the past 10 years. Working in this area along with practicing yoga for my own self-care got me interested in the connection between yoga and the purification of the body. We inevitably store emotions and difficult experiences in our bodies which blocks our natural flow of energy creating mental health issues and a feeling of lethargy. Yoga really helps us to purify the body and release stored emotions. I trained as a Tantra / Hatha Yoga Teacher as this type of yoga really focuses on the energy field and how to keep our body's energy flowing to allow us to feel vibrant and light. I'd love you to come and experience this beautiful yoga, suitable for all levels. We will combine it with an introduction to pranayama (breathwork) and meditation so you will have a full toolkit to take home and practice these lovely calming and centering techniques. I look forward to seeing you on the mat.
